He is from Monroe.  He has family down in the Lake Charles area.  I don't know if you can get news from that area but his cousin is a TV News anchor there by the name of John Bridges.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I also loved your post.  We are walking into our own Africa by becomming Interim Pastor for a new church start.  We have been in Christian Vocational ministry before in the areas of Youth and children. Mike now works for Billy Graham. It reminds me of the book study I'm leading right now by John Ortberg - "If you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat".  Following God involves leaving our 'boat' and heading to 'Africa'.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I'm in the middle of such a journey currently.  From fear to faith.  My 'Africa' right now is North Carolina - not because I'm afraid of the State :o), but because I have a fear of flying.  God has called me to attend a conference there next month - to step out of my comfort zone - and follow Him.
